Laurie Elyse is an artist & designer creating wearable, functional, & decorative pieces. You can find her work in magazines, galleries, restaurants, studios, private collections, and charity auctions for the Grammy’s Foundation & MusiCares, The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, and many more. After attending The Corcoran College of Art in Washington, D.C. she attended and graduated from The School of Visual Arts in New York City. Starting out with creating and building highly conceptual lighting fixtures she now has a collection of jewelry as well as a fashion collection making her runway debut 2008. Forming Laurie Elyse Design, LLC in 2007 Elyse continues to broaden her range even after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after only months of her company being established. Most of her pieces are created from recycled materials and donated broken & used items from musicians of all genres.
Laurie approached us about redesigning her design site, as well as a separate website for her collections. Being an artist, Laurie was looking for a designer to capture her image in the way she wanted, as well as give her the control and functionality she needed. G-Net Consulting delivered!
We created a CMS for her so that adding new content was simple. This allowed for her news and press items to be added very quickly. Before this process was very long, as the original maintainer of her website wasn’t as responsive as she had hoped. New new content is added within hours of receipt.
