The Client...

Donald's Duck Shoppe carries a large variety of nautical collectibles, wall sculptures, lighthouses, miniature sports stadiums, nautical items, weathervanes, and more. We carry the finest products from companies like Bossons / Legends, Bovano, Spoontiques, and more!

The Requirements...

Donald's Duck Shoppe approached G-Net Consulting, Inc. about updating their shopping cart (ecommerce) site. The one they had originally was experiencing many problems, and they needed to upgrade to a newer system.

The Outcome...

We then began building them a custom shopping cart system that was easier to use, and much easier to manage. Their products are now tied to categories that easily allow online visitors to view their full inventory. Category pages now list the products with thumbnails, and use AJAX to display any larger images, once the product is selected. A Donald's Duck Shoppe watermark is also added dynamically to all photos. Once completed, we updated the URLs to be search engine friendly, built site maps of all of their content, optimized the text on the page for their chosen key phrases, and submitted the site to the major (as well as several minor) search engines.
